Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist Manager to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our rehabilitation department, you will provide leadership and oversight for speech language pathology services, ensuring high-quality care and effective collaboration with interprofessional care teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of speech language pathologists and speech and hearing assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure effective service delivery.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to speech language pathology services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Collaborate with interprofessional care teams to ensure seamless patient care and coordinate referrals as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of strategic plans for speech language pathology services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
- Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
