Comau Inc. is seeking a skilled Robot Programmer to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Robot Programmer to design, develop, and implement electrical and electronic systems for our robotic solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, robotics, and automation, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and interpret test data to resolve design-related issues and improve system performance.
- Design, develop, and implement electrical and electronic systems, including circuit boards, sensors, and actuators, to meet specific requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, define, and solve developmental problems, and to develop and implement solutions.
- Modify and troubleshoot electrical prototypes, parts, and systems to correct functional deviations and ensure optimal performance.
- Plan and execute testing and validation of electrical and electronic systems to ensure compliance with safety and design criteria.
- Conduct quality control and assurance activities to ensure that electrical and electronic systems meet established standards and specifications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and test reports, to support system development and maintenance.
- Provide technical assistance and support to colleagues and customers to resolve electrical and engineering-related issues.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, robotics, or automation.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, including circuit boards, sensors, and actuators.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
