The Firestopping Specialist will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure that firestopping materials are installed correctly.
Install Firestopping MaterialsThe Firestopping Specialist will install firestopping materials, such as sealants and sprays, to prevent the spread of fire in buildings.
Inspect Firestopping InstallationsThe Firestopping Specialist will inspect firestopping installations to ensure that they meet industry standards and regulations.
Requirements- Education
The successful candidate will have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
ExperienceThe successful candidate will have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
Work SettingThe successful candidate will work in a construction environment, with the possibility of working in commercial, institutional, and residential settings.
Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and CoursesThe successful candidate will hold a Driver's License and a Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate.
Area of SpecializationThe successful candidate will have expertise in fire stopping and fireproofing.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesThe successful candidate will be physically demanding and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Own Tools/EquipmentThe successful candidate will be required to own steel-toed safety boots.
