We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Custodian to join our team at Prairie South School Division No. 210. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff.

• Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris; empty trash cans and other waste containers.
• Facilities Support: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; contact tradespersons for major repairs.
• Groundskeeping: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens; clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures; clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.

• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in cleaning or maintenance.
• Physical Demands: Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling.
