Centre Director Job in BrightPath Kids

BrightPath Kids is a leading childcare provider in the early childhood education field, offering exceptional opportunities for career growth and development. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director to join our team at Wolfedale, ON.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with the Centre Director to manage the overall operation of the centre, including recruitment and development of staff, management of policies and procedures, child safety, environmental health/hygiene, and province licensing. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Centre Director with daily operations and implementing effective systems and processes
  • Ensuring that all staff members understand their roles and expectations within each classroom
  • Managing administrative tasks such as payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general communications
  • Understanding and enforcing all province regulations within the building
  • Implementing and ensuring completion of training for all staff members
What You'll Be Doing

As an Assistant Director, you will be responsible for providing excellent leadership and support to our centre's staff and families. This includes:

  • Providing effective communication with families about their child's progress and needs
  • Leading by example and promoting a positive and inclusive centre culture
  • Collaborating with teachers and other centre staff to ensure high-quality care and education for our children

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) diploma or degree, and be a member in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE
  • Demonstrated knowledge of licensing and regulations in the early childhood education field
  • The ability to meet province requirements for childcare employment
  • Up-to-date immunization and Health Assessment as per the local Ministry of Health Requirements
  • CPR/First Aid Certificate
