As a Senior Director of Operations, you will be responsible for leading the vision and direction of a division within the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). This role requires a strong leader who can promote the organization's vision and values, ensuring that management and employees are aligned and working towards common goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute the annual business plan and divisional goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction in the management and delivery of programs and services.
- Participate in the planning of financial, physical, and human assets of the division.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a senior expert providing functional leadership and technical expertise to Vice Presidents and Directors.
- Participate in the review, planning, development, and implementation of Board-wide initiatives and strategies.
- Undergraduate university degree and significant experience in developing and delivering programs.
- 10+ years of progressively more responsible leadership and management positions in a large complex organization dealing with insurance and/or disability management and/or public sector management and services.
