Job Title: Vice President

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to join our team at the Government of Canada - Western. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving organizational success and achieving our strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Allocate resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a senior leadership role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with MS Office and computer technology
