Quantitative Advisor

The Quantitative Advisor will play a key role in the Model Risk Management team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of models used by the business. This includes reviewing model design, conceptual soundness, and performance, as well as verifying data quality and consistency.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantitative analysis, with experience in model development, validation, or a front-office quant role. They will be proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or C++, and have advanced knowledge of statistics, econometrics, and machine learning.
The Quantitative Advisor will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, model developers, and validators, to ensure that models are properly validated and meet regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Review and validate model design and conceptual soundness
- Verify data quality and consistency
- Assess model performance and accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure model validation
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in model development, validation, or a front-office quant role
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or C++
- Advanced knowledge of statistics, econometrics, and machine learning
