Metro Xpress Inc. is seeking a skilled Accounting Technician to join our team. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including preparing cheques for payroll, maintaining financial records, and preparing statistical and financial reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Payroll Administration: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare statistical and financial reports, including trial balance and tax returns.
  • Accounting Support: Provide support to the accounting team, including data entry and reconciliations.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting or related field.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure.
