About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading global company, where you will play a key role in the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements. You will participate in the analysis and disclosure of financial information, working closely with experts from various sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the preparation of Intact Financial Corporation's quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements
- Participate in the accounting of unusual transactions such as acquisitions, tax reorganizations, and complex accounting operations
- Participate in the monthly consolidation of Intact Financial Corporation's various subsidiaries, including foreign-currency entities
- Prepare strategic financial analyses as requested by management
Requirements
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) - required
- 5 years' experience in accounting, IFRS accounting standards, or complex accounting transactions
- Experience in consolidation tools (financial reporting) - required
- Knowledge of the P&C insurance industry - an asset
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
