Dumas, a leading full-service underground mining contractor, is seeking an experienced Underground Mechanic to join our team in Timmins, Ontario.

About the Role

We require a skilled Underground Mechanic with expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining a full U/G fleet, including Atlas Copco, Tamrock, and CAT equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of underground mining equipment
  • Maintaining a high level of mechanical expertise, particularly in jumbo drills, Maclean bolters, and scoops
  • Collaborating with our team to achieve production goals and maintain a healthy and safe working environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Ontario HD Mechanic license or equivalent
  • Ontario Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining modules or provincial equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years as an Underground Beat Mechanic
  • Experience troubleshooting Atlas Copco, Tamrock, and CAT underground mining equipment
