Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with policy, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
- Identify the needs of residents and develop and maintain appropriate care plans.
- Ensure timely and accessible admission for residents.
- Manage the supply, control, and safe keeping of drugs and narcotics, adhering to established protocols.
Requirements:
- RPN - Diploma in Practical Nursing and current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Sound knowledge of geriatric care and nursing administration principles.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation, including the Nursing Home Act and Regulations, Health Disciplines Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Pharmacy Act, and Food & Drug Act.
