Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Curry Corner Indian Restaurant LTd. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Package take-out food.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Take customers' orders.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically demanding tasks.
  • Repetitive tasks.
  • Standing for extended periods.
