About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Tricon Drywall. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for ensuring that all drywall installations meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Job Responsibilities
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners of buildings.
  • Fully adhere to safety protocols when working with joint compound, trowels, and knives to avoid accidents and injuries.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to match architectural specifications.
  • Secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists using suitable fastening methods.
  • Smoother out excess compound, allowing each coat to dry completely before applying additional layers.
  • Tape over joints using taping machines and embed tape in compound to achieve seamless finishes.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in drywall installation, preferably with a permanent contract.
  • Excellent physical stamina to work long hours (40 hours per week) on construction sites.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Able to lift and move heavy materials, including drywall sheets and equipment.
