Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis to join our finance team at mdf commerce. As a key member of the Executive Committee, you will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives, driving financial performance, and overseeing financial planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial planning and analysis processes to support business growth and strategic objectives.
- Strategic Initiatives: Lead key strategic initiatives to drive financial performance and support business lines.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the production of monthly and quarterly trend and variance analysis reports.
- Forecasting and Budgeting: Manage the annual budget process and lead monthly reviews of forecast updates.
- Leadership and Governance: Develop and implement governance processes to support data-driven decision making.
- Communication and Collaboration: Prepare presentations to the Board of Directors and Executive Team, and collaborate with business lines and Corporate Accounting.
Requirements
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead people through change and build excellent cross-functional teams.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and experience in modeling, delivery forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in French and English, both oral and written.
- Education: University degree in accounting or other relevant field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience supporting the management team in the strategic planning process.
