Job Description

The QC Technician is responsible for implementing Quality Control for production and shipping of our products, ensuring the quality and consistency of our concrete products.

Accountabilities

  • Health & Safety: Implement Lafarge's Safety Program and applicable legislation, participating in risk analysis and development of improvement plans.
  • Support to Operations: Apply the Quality Plan, enter testing results into QC software, and participate in production adjustments to ensure product conformance.
  • Technical Support and Quality Control: Conduct testing, analyze results, and provide technical support to ensure product conformance.

Qualification Profile

  • Education: Secondary education with experience in construction or post-secondary education in Civil technology, engineering, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge & Skills: Experience in the construction materials industry, excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to work well as part of a team.
