The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer III - Renewable Energy to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for programming and commissioning control systems that bring together multiple sub-systems to meet the operational and regulatory needs of our clients.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients in the renewable energy industry.
  • Develop and implement logic for assigned project tasks, including client and contractor coordination, logic development & testing.
  • Ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A two-year technical degree.
  • Four to seven years of experience in industrial control systems, integration of robotics systems, or programming in a related field.
  • Renewable energy industry exposure, including wind, PV, and BESS.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus, etc.) and internet network architectures.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines by setting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Able to read and create engineering design drawings, including communication diagrams, logic diagrams, and network schematics.
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SQL, Access).
