Hospitality Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Operations Manager to join our team at Davis Properties Inc. as a Housekeeping Supervisor.
Job SummaryThis is a permanent, 32 hour per week role that involves supervising and coordinating the activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring sites or facilities meet safety and cleanliness standards, and preparing budgets and cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities- Hire, train, and arrange for the training of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including monitoring their performance, providing feedback, and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Inspect sites or facilities to ensure they meet the company's safety and cleanliness standards, and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates for housekeeping services, taking into account factors such as staffing costs, equipment needs, and supply expenses.
- Recommend or arrange for additional services required, such as painting, repair work, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- Maintain accurate financial records related to housekeeping services.
- Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs, and ensure that all revenue is accurately recorded and accounted for.
- Assist housekeeping staff in performing their duties, and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Co-ordinate work activities with other departments, such as maintenance and facilities management, to ensure a seamless and efficient service.
- Establish work schedules for housekeeping staff, taking into account factors such as staffing levels, workload, and operational requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to have a strong attention to detail, and be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
What We Offer- A competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

- A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a housekeeping or hospitality environment.
- A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- A strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
