About Your Role as a Technical Proposal Specialist
You will be responsible for managing technical and cost inputs from subcontractors and internal departments, and presenting solution and costs to senior management or customer. You will also be required to guide the proposals through the Gate process, provide technical support to Marketing, and provide technical marketing support in the field (demonstrations, presentations) with prospective customers and at industry conferences/events.
Requirements
You must have a Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, and a minimum 5 years of Bid & Proposal experience (or equivalent), either leading or supporting the Proposal team. Experience with naval communication systems is preferable. You should also be familiar with medium to large RFPs, common contractual documents, compliance matrices, and the like.
You should be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, and have strong interpersonal skills and work well in as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Eligibility Criteria
You must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program, eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2 / NATO Secret security clearance, and meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
