We are seeking an experienced Flooring Installation Specialist to join our team at D.R Number One Construction LTD. This is a permanent position, requiring 35-45 hours of work per week.

About the Job

This role involves working with various types of flooring materials and installing them according to client specifications. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet high standards of quality and safety.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing surfaces for installation by cleaning, measuring, and marking them as required
  • Mixing and applying adhesives, cements, mastics, glues, or other substances using hand trowels
  • Setting tiles in place and applying pressure to secure them to the base
  • Aligning and straightening tiles to ensure a smooth finish
  • Cutting and fitting tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
  • Packing grout into joints between tiles and removing excess grout
  • Removing and replacing cracked or damaged tiles
  • Installing tile strips

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is CAD $55,000 - CAD $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including paid training, learning opportunities, free parking, transportation provided by employer, and more.
