Job Title: Construction Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Ontario Inc. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of our construction projects.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to construction, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and assisting in the alignment of pipes during pipeline construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Erecting and dismantling scaffolding, ramps, and barricades
  • Assisting in the alignment of pipes during pipeline construction
  • Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
  • Assisting in demolishing buildings
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Performing routine maintenance work
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tending or feeding machines or equipment used in construction
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a physically demanding environment
Working Conditions:
  • Work will be performed outdoors and in various weather conditions
  • May be required to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • May be exposed to noise, dust, and other hazardous materials
