About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Pizza House. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including complete meals and individual items, to meet the demands of our fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Work Environment

This role will be based in our urban restaurant location, with opportunities to work in various locations as needed.
