The Quality Control Coordinator will take ownership of all aspects of the department, including coordinating related regulatory programs while maintaining a safe workplace.

  • Executes the implementation, verification, reassessment, maintenance and storage of site level HACCP plans, prerequisite programs, and supporting documentation.
  • Monitors and verifies product safety programs and facility practices, then takes appropriate action to ensure the integrity of the HACCP system.
  • Primary liaison with CFIA inspectors, third party auditors, and customers.

The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree or diploma in Science, Environmental Science or related field with Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment. They should also have 3-5 years' experience, understanding of HACCP and its application to manufacturing, strong leadership and data management skills, and proficient skills in MS Office applications.
