We are seeking a skilled Plumber Journeyman/Woman to join our team at Paul's Plumbing & Heating Ltd.

Job Summary

This is a permanent position that requires a high level of expertise in plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures and systems in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for plumbing projects.
  • Instruct apprentices in plumbing techniques and best practices.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Supervise other workers on plumbing projects.
  • Estimate costs and materials for plumbing projects.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
Requirements
  • Plumber Trade Certification is required.
  • Criminal record check and driving record check are mandatory.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and tools are necessary for the job.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and overtime is required.
  • Reliability and punctuality are must-haves.
  • Honesty and accuracy are expected.
