Job Title: Tutor Pool

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Tutor Pool to support the work of classroom teachers in increasing student achievement in the province. The successful candidate will serve as an academic tutor in an Elementary or Secondary School, providing individualized support to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom teachers in increasing student achievement
  • Provide individualized academic support to students
  • Work with students to develop and implement learning plans
  • Collaborate with teachers to identify areas of need and develop strategies to support student learning
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress

Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience supporting student learning
  • Ability to work with students of varying skill levels and abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
