Job Summary:

The Facility Maintenance Helper will assist in the maintenance of all U-Haul facilities within a geographical area. This role involves performing general maintenance, installation, repair, and service tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively work with hand and power tools.
  • Perform maintenance, installation, repair, and service tasks.
  • Participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University.
  • Assist skilled workers in the performance of all duties when necessary.
  • Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal vehicular regulations while driving.

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, and lifting a minimum of 50 lbs.
