Farm Operations Specialist

At JOHAL EAGLE ROAD FARMS, we are seeking a skilled Farm Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our farm operations team, you will be responsible for the daily management of our crops, including planting, cultivating, and harvesting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Examine products for quality and readiness for market.
  • Write daily progress reports to track farm operations and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing farm conditions and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in farm operations or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Working Conditions:

  • 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as needed.
  • English language proficiency.
