Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

* Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
* Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care.
* Ensure timely and accessible admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientation to the home and services offered.
* Ensure resident transfers and discharges are timely and safe.
* Ensure the safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, and follow protocols on all assigned shifts.
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.

Requirements:

* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
* Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
* Basic computer proficiency.
* Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
* Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively with others in a compassionate and supportive manner.
* Respect for each resident's individuality and need for self-respect and privacy.
* Knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal statutes influencing the operation of the nursing home and nursing department.
* Medical Clearance, including TB tests.
* Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
* Clear Criminal Record check.

All staff are required to provide proof of vaccination, adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols, and wear a mask at all times.
