Job Summary:

GardaWorld Cash is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Armed Cash Transporter to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As a key member of our cash transportation team, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of our clients' valuables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport cash and valuables safely and efficiently to various locations
  • Reload or perform minor repairs on Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) from various financial institutions
  • Ensure a safe environment for colleagues and customers
  • Follow established routes and schedules closely
  • Drive an armored vehicle and maintain road safety at all times
  • Load and unload the armored vehicle
  • Complete daily reports and paperwork
  • Adhere to GardaWorld's procedures and regulations
  • Carry a firearm during the performance of duties

Requirements:

  • Hold a restricted and non-restricted Federal Firearms License (PAL)
  • Own a valid driver's license (class 5 minimum) with a maximum of 6 demerit points
  • Be capable of lifting loads up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Be available to work variable shifts, including weekends and nights
  • Be reliable, conscientious, and committed to safe job performance
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills and ability to manage stressful situations
  • Be highly organized and comfortable working with minimal supervision
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure and tight timelines
