About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Specialist to join our team at Walnut Grove Animal Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of animal health issues, from routine check-ups to complex medical cases.
  • Perform surgical procedures, prescribe medication, and provide emergency care as needed.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, working closely with clients to ensure the best possible outcomes for their pets.
  • Collaborate with our team of animal health technologists and animal care workers to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in veterinary medicine, attending conferences and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
