As a Masonry Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting experienced masons with various tasks, including loading and unloading construction materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and mixing and pouring concrete.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist medical examiners as needed
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work at heights and in cold/refrigerated environments
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks
  • Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
