About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at CLC Building Solutions Inc. as a key member of our manufacturing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to execute precision machining tasks.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assembly and Inspection: Assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance and verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Setup and Operation: Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality products.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, and a team player attitude.
Work Environment
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Language of Work: English.
  • Job Type: Permanent.
