We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Seniors Wellness. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, including admission assessments and specialized seating and positioning assessments.
- Identify and recommend appropriate equipment needs for our clients.
- Consult with local vendors to facilitate equipment trials and complete applications for funding.
- Provide education and training to clients and their families on topics such as independence with activities of daily living, wheelchair use, and adaptive aids.
- Monitor and record client progress, including restraint use, wound prevention, falls, and injury prevention.
- Registration with the Provincial Association of Occupational Therapists.
- Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
