Job Title: Head Shipper

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Shipper to join our team at J.M.S Warehousing Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient workflow and meet customer demands.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Recruit and hire staff, train workers in duties and policies, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, and establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • First Aid Certificate.
Work Environment:

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure. Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, and have manual dexterity and attention to detail.
