Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and directing grounds maintenance, organizing and directing construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls, and maintaining work records and logs. They will also be responsible for requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies, and resolving work problems and providing technical advice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including lawn care, snow removal, and other outdoor tasks.
  • Organize and direct construction of decks, decorative walls, and other landscape features.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, including equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to team members.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation. They will also be required to work at heights and in physically demanding environments.
