Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at YMCA Calgary. As a key member of our child care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality programs and services to children aged 12 months to 6 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate programs that meet the needs of children and families
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, and social development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve program goals and objectives
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification - Level 1, 2, or 3
  • Experience working with children aged 12 months to 6 years in a licensed child care setting
  • Positive attitude and collaborative teamwork approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including basic computer literacy
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR C certification
  • Evidence of a clear Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
