About the Role:
Giant Tiger is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Hardgoods Associate to join our team in La Ronge. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including merchandise, promotions, and sales.
- Ensure a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area and merchandise displays.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and meet customer needs.
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Ability to lift up to 18 kg (40 lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
