Job Overview

This is a full-time role for a Senior Machine Learning/Computer Vision Research Scientist (Ph.D.) at Captura based in Vancouver, BC.

The successful candidate will lead research and development projects in machine learning and computer vision, design, implement, and evaluate advanced algorithms and models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into products.

Responsibilities
  • Drive innovation by conducting cutting-edge research in machine learning and computer vision.
  • Develop and implement high-performance algorithms and models using deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Collaborate with our talented team to integrate solutions into existing products.
  • Mentor junior researchers and provide technical guidance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends to drive innovation and advancement.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong background in Machine Learning and Computer Vision.
  • Experience in developing algorithms and models from scratch.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
