Job Title: API Developer

We are seeking an experienced API Developer to join our team at Finance Professionals Inc. in Downtown Toronto. As an API Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying highly complex and scalable API platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform technical analysis, design, and deployment of API platforms.
  • Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for Apigee Proxy deployments and testing.
  • Develop, support, and troubleshoot proxy flows, templates, and security features.
  • Collaborate with vendors, internal and external teams to accomplish project success.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience as a developer.
  • 4+ years of experience with Java/JavaScript.
  • 3+ years of experience with API development and back-end service side development.
  • 3+ years of experience building and deploying CI/CD pipelines for cloud workloads using tools like Jenkins, GitHub actions, etc.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Enterprise Integration/Middleware Solutions.
  • Experience with Security, Access Controls (IAM/OAuth/SAML, etc.), Network level controls (SSL, TLS, etc.), Error handling.
  • GCP experience.
Education:
  • Bachelor's in a technical field.
  • Any API products certifications an asset.
  • Cloud certifications an asset.
