Job Overview

We're seeking a skilled Senior Process Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a senior technical lead, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Analyze client requirements and develop mechanical and piping engineering solutions
  2. Prepare budgets and schedules for input into proposals
  3. Design and develop mechanical and piping systems
  4. Supervise designers to prepare 3D models and drawings
  5. Coordinate hydraulic and stress analyses of critical piping systems
  6. Prepare progress reports for the mechanical discipline on assigned projects
  7. Review and mark-up contractor and supplier submittals and shop drawings
  8. Interact with other discipline teams and clients to coordinate project objectives
  9. Train and mentor less experienced team members
  10. Complete QA/QC reviews and peer reviews
  11. Communicate technical information effectively to multiple audiences

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  2. Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario, Canada
  3. Minimum 10 years of experience in various industries including water, wastewater, and renewable energy
  4. Experience in gas handling, compression, and treatment systems, as well as hydrogen handling and blending
  5. Familiarity with BIM 360, REVIT, AutoCAD, and NavisWorks or similar tools
  6. Strong analytical, mechanical, and problem-solving skills
  7. Ability to lead and multitask in a team environment
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  9. Extensive knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards
