Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our delivery team, your primary responsibilities will include the efficient pick-up and delivery of customer packages. You will be required to scan packages/mail as received, delivered, or returned to the depot at the end of the day. Additionally, you will resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers. Daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic-Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR) are also a crucial aspect of this role.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a valid Class 5 license with a clean driving abstract. You should also be able to read maps and have a good sense of geographical direction. Flexibility to work additional hours or overtime is a must, as is the ability to pass a criminal record check. You will be required to lift up to 70lbs and have strong customer focus and communication skills. Reliable and punctual behavior is also essential. You will be expected to wear steel-toed boots and have completed courier methods training and/or have work-related experience. Strong customer service skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work as a team player are also necessary.

Working Conditions

This role will require you to work on the road and in a warehouse environment. You will be expected to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends. You will also be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and to work well under pressure.
