About the Role: As a Manager of Clinical Informatics, you will report directly to the Director of Care. This position is responsible for leading the implementation of RAI-MDS 2.0 and related processes across the organization. You will oversee education and training for staff on RAI-MDS 2.0, RAPS, subscale outcome measures, quality indicators, and reports. Additionally, you will coordinate AIS certification for newly hired registered staff and schedule and monitor resident assessments.

Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  1. Coordinating informatics on Quality Improvement and RAI-MDS 2.0 process.
  2. Providing education and software training to staff members on RAI-MDS 2.0, RAPS, subscale outcome measures, quality indicators, and reports.
  3. Scheduling and monitoring all informatics on residents' assessments.
  4. Working with management and interdisciplinary teams to develop data integrity processes.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in health administration, with experience in long-term care settings. A minimum of two years' experience as a supervisor is preferred. You must also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in computer systems. In addition, you should hold a valid license under the Health Disciplines Act and have knowledge of RAI-MDS - AIS certified as RAI Educator.
