Software Tester Opportunity at Wedge Networks

We are seeking a skilled Software Tester to join our team at Wedge Networks in Calgary, AB.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough testing of software applications to ensure quality and reliability
  • Identifying and reporting defects and issues to the development team
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement testing strategies
  • Providing technical support and guidance to junior team members
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma, certificate, or degree in a software-related field from a recognized institution
  • At least one year of experience with UNIX/LINUX systems
  • Two or more years of experience in software testing, with a focus on quality assurance
  • Strong understanding of IT network infrastructure basics and virtualization
  • Experience with cloud computing infrastructure and agile software development methodologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
