We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Associate Director of Care to join our team at Muskoka Shores Community. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure safe, effective, and person-centered care to residents.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that address individual needs and preferences of residents.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas of improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance resident outcomes.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate nursing professionals, including Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses, and Personal Support Workers.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and professional growth among team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards governing long-term care homes in Ontario or British Columbia.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Nursing Science or equivalent post-diploma education.
  • Current registration and good standing with the College of Nurses.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a nurse in long-term care.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in a managerial or supervisory capacity in a healthcare setting.
