Chief Executive Officer

Rainbow Railroad is a leading organization in the global movement to advance and protect the human rights of LGBTQI+ individuals. As Chief Executive Officer, you will play a critical role in helping those most vulnerable find safety from persecution and violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Rainbow Railroad's programs, staff, and strategic plan to ensure alignment with opportunities and resources.
  • Build and maintain relationships with global partners, stakeholders, and donors to advance the organization's mission.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to tell Rainbow Railroad's stories and impact donors, policymakers, and the broader public.
  • Lead a dedicated Leadership Team and staff to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Leadership and governance experience in a nonprofit environment of similar scope and scale.
  • Outstanding relationship skills, exceptional communication abilities, and the capacity to tell compelling stories.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with global partners and stakeholders to deliver on the organization's mission.
