Water Treatment Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Operations Manager to oversee water treatment operations at our Faro Mine Remediation Site in Yukon, Canada.

About the Role
  • Oversee the operation of three lime-based water treatment facilities and all site pumping infrastructure.
  • Ensure that all pumping and conveyance systems for contact water collection and water treatment plants are optimized and maintain compliance requirements, including water quality monitoring and treatment process & control.
  • Manage Water Treatment Operations manpower, including four rotating crews of 6-8 personnel each - 24-30 direct reports.
  • Review/approve timecards, manage vacation requests and schedule necessary overtime to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Coach, train, and develop Water Treatment personnel, including both operators and supervisors.

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About You
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Water Treatment Operator Level 2 minimum certification or equivalent.
  • Typically 12 Years or more of industrial or mine water treatment experience or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated management experience of pumping/conveyance and lime treatment operations for large-scale contaminated water management programs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and coordinating crews of over 25, including operators, and administrative staff.
