Job Summary

Stubbe's is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of equipment and utilities used within our Cement/Redi-Mix and Aggregate plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to accomplish tasks and meet production requirements.
  • Operate various equipment, including overhead cranes, concrete batching systems, genie booms, boom trucks, forklifts, and hand-powered tools.
  • Troubleshoot and test equipment at our locations in South Western Ontario.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on equipment, including welding and fabrication as needed.
  • Schedule maintenance to ensure optimal production and minimize downtime.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and monitoring of all equipment.
  • Record and track work orders, and perform installations and commissioning of new equipment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a trade related to equipment maintenance.
  • Proficient in the use of all tools of trade.
  • Practical working experience is an asset.
  • Strong work ethic and high motivation.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Minimum G2 License.
  • Detailed record-keeping abilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to provide own standard tools.
  • Proficient with computers for record keeping.
