Job Title: Glass Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Glass Cutter to join our team at YYC Closets and Glass Ltd. As a Glass Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting glass to precise specifications using various techniques and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate glass cutting machines to produce high-quality cuts
  • Measure and mark glass to ensure accurate cuts
  • Examine and mark defective glass to obtain the best cut
  • Smooth rough edges using belt sanders or smoothing wheels
  • Set up and adjust glass cutting machines to optimize production
Work Environment:

Our work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a noisy and dusty environment.

Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in glass cutting or a related field
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and move heavy loads
Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
