We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Firehouse Subs. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Payroll Processing: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in bookkeeping software.
