Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Pluse Freight Systems is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Route Planning: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Logistics: Load and unload goods, operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
  • Documentation: Accurate completion of driver logbook, inspection reports, and trans-border documentation.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable, criminal record check, driver's validity licence check, and driving record check (abstract).
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.
